2026 To Do List

After taking the entire year of 2025 off to catch up on family medical issues, I'm hoping that soon after New Year 2026, I can get back to work. About the only thing I have had time to do outside of doctor's visits is plan. I am contemplating getting a part-time job outside of my work-from-home ideas. I should know by March or April if that will be necessary.

Because soon after New Year 2026 begins, I plan to get back to creating and selling on Etsy. And finishing the book that I started studying and researching for in 2015. I have a final proofread and edit to go through for that book (or likely, those books). I think it may become a series of three or four books now since it is so long.

I'm also going to start new longer series of  books on two different topics. These series have been on my mind for a few years now. And 2026 feels like the right year to get started since I'm nearing the end of the main book, and I have already done quite a bit of research and studying for these two new topics. Time will tell. Of course, I want to prepare a few more free books for you as well.

I also want to start a forum for us. Not on Facebook. It will involve everything that I think every woman needs to know, hear, feel. And it's going to be loosely based on one of the topics in this latter series of books that I want to work on. That is going to be a big undertaking, but I do hope to announce that in 2026 at some point. That will require a brief application to assure admittance to women only and have a small-fee based membership to encourage member involvement.

For the time being, though, I still have to get through December and January after which things do appear to slow down a bit, at least from an appointment perspective, for my to do list to become to done. : ) It seems like a lot. But my motto is "Just start somewhere." And from there, we'll see what happens. Until then, I'll keep plugging away at my closet, drawer, and cabinet cleaning so I'll feel like I can accomplish my ambitious 2026 to do list.

What about you? Do you have a 2026 to do list? Are you excited for 2026? Leave a comment. We would all love to hear what is on your mind.

Have a blessed day,

Patricia

New Christian T-shirts Designed and Listed on Etsy

I just finished designing a couple of Christian T-shirts and listing them on Etsy. You can read more about these and keep up with new arrivals on my Digital Potpourri Blog. If you have a custom request, you can contact us via Etsy messages . We'll be happy to try to produce a t-shirt to your liking as long as there is nothing profane, vulgar, immoral, licensed, trademarked or involving hate related to the design. One of the tees reads Love Obey Trust with bible books, chapters, and verses that coincide with these words. The other states God Lives Here with "Here" inside a heart shaped from mini hearts. So, basically 2 messages. God Lives and He lives in our hearts. 😇 Thanks for dropping by to read my updates today, Patricia

Finally a Few Nice Days in a Row

I've been waiting and waiting for spring temps to arrive for more than a couple of days without rain. And this is the week! We finally have some color in the yard and on our deck. So, I want to share what my husband, son, and I have been up to for the last few days. First of all, we had our first cookout on Sunday, April 28 to celebrate our younger son's birthday. That officially kicks off spring. I mixed the first batch of hummingbird nectar a couple of weeks ago, hoping the males would take advantage while the females were tending to their nests. As far as we can tell, 1 male has visited twice. Of course, we can't look out the window all of the time. But we do look out frequently. And we hang them in 2 locations that we can see directly from the kitchen windows. The rose bushes started blooming about a week ago, and I finally had time to take pictures of them. I pulled out the grass and weeds that were growing around them a couple of hours after I took the front-facing ...

Bounty Paper Towels Product Review

Today, I want to let you in on a little secret . I recently bought a new four-pack of  Bounty paper towels - full sheets. I am not a select-a-size fan at all, for the record. Anyway, the newer package didn't look as thick as the last several packages I had bought over the last several years. I happened to have an older package in storage (and I actually noticed not long ago that the rolls seemed to be smaller in more recent packages, as well, based on the way they fit more loosely in my paper towel holder; not too long ago, they were very snug in my holder until I had used four or five paper towels), so I compared the two when I brought the newer package home. Lo and behold, I was correct. So, I think the decrease in sheets actually started happening gradually over the last year or so. But this time, the reduction was very noticeable. And I hope Bounty won't decrease the size anymore. As you can see in the pictures below, the older package of paper towels shows 58 sheets per r...
