New Elderly Tips

I have added some elderly tips to my Senior Care Memoirs website. We all have a senior in our family, such as a parent or grandparent. Or we see elderly people while we're shopping. They deserve to feel respected and independent. So, I have added these new tips as some helpful advice. Watch for posts to be added to the Senior Care Memoirs site more frequently as new stages evolve in my senior family members' lives.

I hope you enjoy these tips and other upcoming posts. Together, we can figure this out. We're going to fill our blank canvas with helpful information. I won't be posting any future updates to the other site here, so you will want to bookmark it if you're interested in reading this type of information. Thanks for stopping by today.

Love My Granitestone Cookware

I bought my Granitestone cookware June 3, 2023. I loved these right out of the box. Now, after nearly 5 months of use, I'll have to say this is the best cookware I've ever owned. And I've owned lots of cookware since my husband and I got married nearly 35 years ago. I'm actually considering buying one of their knife sets too. If I do, I'll leave a product review on here for those as well.  Granitestone is not paying me for this review. If you know me by now, you know that I started this website to help other women in every aspect of life that I can. Why tell you about this today ? Because I cook our meals nearly every night of the week. And I feel that 5 months is long enough to tell you about these. These lids are also vented with small holes so I don't have to tilt them to vent. It is d

Dollar Tree Rescue

I want to talk about extending the life of a much used item in today's post . The much used item I'm talking about is a medicine cabinet. Our medicine cabinet in the master bathroom is over 28 years old. And over the years, liquids, age, and perhaps some mold have stained the cardboard backing. It does need to be replaced at some point in the near future, but I feel like I salvaged it for a few more years with this Dollar Tree "rescue" self-adhesive decorative paper. They had a few designs to choose from. I was unable to find these online. But in the store, they are called peel & stick decals by Room Essentials 12 in. x 12 in. For a larger selection, you could also use self-adhesive Crafter's Square paper sold by Dollar Tree that would normally be used with a Cricut. Below, you can see my rescue makeover.
