I've had this song by Jamie Grace in my head for a few days now, so I thought that today would be a great day to share it with you. Watching her sing this song makes you feel great, but hearing the words is extremely uplifting.
Psalm 118:24 NLT states: This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Life was never meant for us to spend it in misery. Trust me when I say that misery is not something to envy or accomplish. So many people make this a daily endeavor - to be worse off than anyone else they know. I was on that road for so long, because the world around me taught me to be that way. But praise Jesus, I found a new path!
Now, every morning, (1) I thank God as soon as I'm awake. (2) I take in deep breaths and (3) drink a few ounces of water - reminding myself of the life sustaining value both have. And (4) I read a devotion or 2 and (5) meditate, for a few minutes, on the precious Word God has taught me about life. All are gifts from God.
Often, life is what we make it - the aches and pains, hurts, negativity OR gratitude, blessings, beauty from ashes, positivity. These 5 things I start my days with generate positive energy I need to get through a day. So many people start with the negative and continue with the negative throughout each day. I have found that the positive energy alleviates my aches and pains. And it also eliminates the self-pity I would get from the negative thoughts.
So what are those negative thoughts? Some common ones are: I hate my job, life stinks, I wish I had more money, I wish I had been able to get more sleep.
Better thoughts: Thank you, Lord, for this day you created just for me. Help me to make the best of it and help others and glorify you along the way. The devil won't win today! Hallelujah!
Thus, I encourage you to look for God's beauty in everything. Yes, rainbows, sunshine, trees full of leaves, and the colors of spring, summer, and autumn but also rain, clouds, snow, frost, cold, and the leafless trees during dormant winter. All days are beautiful because all come from God - His gift to you.
I hope this message uplifts you today. I'd love to hear how others generate positivity and show their gratitude to God. Leave a comment below to share!
After Saul (Paul) was converted from Judaism, in which he was a trained priest, to Christianity on the road to Damascus, he spent a few years learning how to be a better person for God's new work in Christ. After God prepared him, Paul started preaching the Good News to people in different cities. One of those cities was Corinth in Greece. When Paul needed to correct - or praise - some teachings of the churches that were established in these cities but couldn't get back to them right away, he would write them letters. One of these letters (often called epistles) is called I Corinthians in the Holy Bible. The message I want to bring to your attention today is what Paul was telling this church about love. He told them in verse 16:14 to, " Do everything with love. " (NLT) The NKJV read as, " Let all that you do be done with love. " What a difference we could make in the world if we could all follow this beautiful advice. In the same Book of I Corinthians 13:

Today’s topic, free typing lessons, is part of the #smlworkfromhome series. As I mentioned in my book, Transcribe Like a Pro: Making Money from Home , typing is obviously one of the most important skills you will need to succeed as a transcriptionist . Of course, the process is easier when you know the correct way to type. You definitely can’t finger peck your way to success when you transcribe, because most clients want a fairly quick turnaround once a transcribing job is assigned. So, I am listing 4 free typing sites below that will show you the correct finger positioning as well as which finger is to be used for each letter, number, and symbol on a keyboard.
