"Do good to all people" is a message from Galatians 6:10. God wants us to be kind to people and to pray kind things for people - even if we aren't particularly fond of them. From your kindness, perhaps they will be kind to someone, and that person will be kind to someone, and so on.
From a personal standpoint, I know that some people won't accept our kindness. For example, there was a cashier who used to work at our local grocery store who simply didn't want to be kind; nor would she accept kindness offered by most people. Finally, after a couple of years of trying, the kindest thing I could do for both of us was to simply avoid going through her line. I still prayed for good things to happen to her, because she was obviously a very miserable person. Shortly after that, though, she stopped working there. I don't know if that was her decision or a management decision. But she still crosses my mind from time to time, and I'll say a kind prayer for her. Why? Because God wants all of us to be happy.
