Stop and smell the roses

This Saturday morning, I'm sharing a picture of my pretty rose bushes. And yes, I did take the time to smell them. 😊 Not only that, but I also I enjoy caring for them. These are just small moments that are too precious to let them pass by. There is so much beauty in the world. So, be sure to take a moment to gaze upon this beauty whether it's growing in your yard, in a meadow, between sidewalk cracks, or an empty parking lot.

It's almost time for the butterfly bushes to start blooming too. With that, I'll have some pretty butterfly pictures to share with you soon. And who knows? Maybe even a hummingbird as well. We'll see.

If you don't have room for rose bushes, buy some hanging petunias! They don't smell pretty, but they sure are pretty to look at. And they're easy to care for. I would recommend knockout roses like I have if you want to plant roses in your yard. They're much easier to care for than the old-fashioned roses that your grandmother used to have in her yard.

And butterfly bushes are pretty, fragrant, easy to care for, and attract pretty wildlife as I mentioned earlier. They require a bit more maintenance to keep them from taking over a yard, but I think they're worth it because of the additional beauty that is attracted to them.

I would love to hear what your favorite flowers are and if you have any in your yard or a hanging basket. Why are they your favorite flowers?

Have a blessed day,

Patricia

Love Never Fails

After Saul (Paul) was converted from Judaism, in which he was a trained priest, to Christianity on the road to Damascus, he spent a few years learning how to be a better person for God's new work in Christ. After God prepared him, Paul started preaching the Good News to people in different cities. One of those cities was Corinth in Greece. When Paul needed to correct - or praise - some teachings of the churches that were established in these cities but couldn't get back to them right away, he would write them letters. One of these letters (often called epistles) is called I Corinthians in the Holy Bible.  The message I want to bring to your attention today is what Paul was telling this church about love. He told them in verse 16:14 to, " Do everything with love. " (NLT) The NKJV read as, " Let all that you do be done with love. " What a difference we could make in the world if we could all follow this beautiful advice.  In the same Book of I Corinthians 13:

Free Typing Lessons

Today’s topic, free typing lessons, is part of the  #smlworkfromhome  series. As I mentioned in my book,  Transcribe Like a Pro: Making Money from Home , typing is obviously one of the most important skills you will need to succeed as a transcriptionist . Of course, the process is easier when you know the correct way to type. You definitely can’t finger peck your way to success when you transcribe, because most clients want a fairly quick turnaround once a transcribing job is assigned. So, I am listing 4 free typing sites below that will show you the correct finger positioning as well as which finger is to be used for each letter, number, and symbol on a keyboard.
