Senior Care Memoirs Blog has been Created

I have started a sister site called Senior Care Memoirs. I was going to write a book but decided a blog would be more helpful and logical as the details will come along in spurts. And I'm already have writing 3 other books.

The new blog will include incorrect information you'll likely receive from nursing homes, important questions nursing homes need to ask up front but don't, what to expect from seniors with dementia and mobility issues, and how to find care for these seniors when you can't do it yourself. My personal experiences, frustrations, and failures will be included as well so you'll know you're not alone in your battle and that you will survive.

Hopefully, I will be able to shed some light on how you can maintain your sanity and keep the promise you will make to yourself that you will not wind up like the senior(s) you're watching after. Difficulties, threats, and disappointments will litter the way, and you'll have no idea how you got into the mess you find yourself in. Questions are always welcome. Answers will be provided either via the comments section, email, or a new post.

Thanks for visiting www.SimplyMakingLife.com today. I hope you enjoy the new site and will find it to be helpful once more posts are added.

May God bless you on the journey you're on today,

Patricia

Love Never Fails

After Saul (Paul) was converted from Judaism, in which he was a trained priest, to Christianity on the road to Damascus, he spent a few years learning how to be a better person for God's new work in Christ. After God prepared him, Paul started preaching the Good News to people in different cities. One of those cities was Corinth in Greece. When Paul needed to correct - or praise - some teachings of the churches that were established in these cities but couldn't get back to them right away, he would write them letters. One of these letters (often called epistles) is called I Corinthians in the Holy Bible.  The message I want to bring to your attention today is what Paul was telling this church about love. He told them in verse 16:14 to, " Do everything with love. " (NLT) The NKJV read as, " Let all that you do be done with love. " What a difference we could make in the world if we could all follow this beautiful advice.  In the same Book of I Corinthians 13:

New Elderly Tips

I have added some elderly tips  to my Senior Care Memoirs website. We all have a senior in our family, such as a parent or grandparent. Or we see elderly people while we're shopping. They deserve to feel respected and independent. So, I have added these new tips as some helpful advice. Watch for posts to be added to the Senior Care Memoirs site more frequently as new stages evolve in my senior family members' lives.  I hope you enjoy these tips and other upcoming posts. Together, we can figure this out. We're going to fill our blank canvas with helpful information. I won't be posting any future updates to the other site here, so you will want to bookmark it if you're interested in reading this type of information. Thanks for stopping by today. Free Typing Lessons

Today’s topic, free typing lessons, is part of the  #smlworkfromhome  series. As I mentioned in my book,  Transcribe Like a Pro: Making Money from Home , typing is obviously one of the most important skills you will need to succeed as a transcriptionist . Of course, the process is easier when you know the correct way to type. You definitely can’t finger peck your way to success when you transcribe, because most clients want a fairly quick turnaround once a transcribing job is assigned. So, I am listing 4 free typing sites below that will show you the correct finger positioning as well as which finger is to be used for each letter, number, and symbol on a keyboard. Although signing in isn’t required, I think that creating a sign-in will make it easier for you to keep up with your progress. Typing Club tea
